2004 Pukaki Gold Coin
2004 PUKAKI GOLD COIN :
This coin was issued with the blessing of Ngati Whakaue / Pukaki iwi
who cemented a relationship with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand,
allowing this government entity to officially utilise the image of Pukaki
on the New Zealand twenty cent coin. Lois assisted iwi representatives
in obtaining 30 coins as well as providing another 56 into the tribal
network. Today approximately 100 of the 300 coins issued are held
by iwi descendants.

2012 HEIMATAU GOLD AND SILVER COIN :
Designer Lewis Gardiner of Ngati Pikiao, Ngati Awa, Whanau-a-Apanui, Ngai Tahu. Lois once again worked with New Zealand Post and Lewis advising cliental about this issue. To celebrate the release of this coin issue Lois produced special limited edition stamp covers which carries Lewis's signature, Heimatau stamps and full details aboutthis exceptionally talented contemporary Maori Carver. The Heimatau Gold coin sold out a whopping six weeks before issue date, with approximately half of the 250 coins minted heading overseas. Special mention and congratulations also to fellow designer of the Heimatau coin, Mr Thomas Hansen.

who she considers as a dear friend and mentor. To celebrate the release of this coin issue, Lois produced special limited edition stamp covers which carries Raponi's signature, Heitiki stamp and full details about this exceptional Tohunga Whakairo (Master Carver).
